OK, I changed my mind - again! I was getting ready to send the MusicPad Pro back, but after speaking with tech support at Freehand, I realized that it will have plenty of memory if I connect it to a flash drive. (They sent one with it, but it did not work.) I bought three 2G San Flash drives (at Costco for $50.00, wow they certainly have gotten cheaper) and started scanning my songs. This is going to work. Imagine having 6 thick books of music in one little thin computer. And the playlist feature really is great. After creating a playlist, all I have to do is tap the right side of the screen and the next song in the playlist comes up. So after I get everything scanned and loaded into the MusicPad Pro, no more fumbling thru the books. YAY!!! They admit that their owners manual needs a lot of work still, but are working to correct this problem. Also, they are working on a program that allows one to enter lyrics with chords above it and use a transpose feature. That is really going to be nice. So, barring any further unforseen problems, I think I have to give this product a really good recomendation. Check it out at www.freehandsystems.com!
